Have you finished your 2010 income tax return? ..... or are you ..... Done for another year, all the receipts have been collected, tax slips organized and all in the hands of your friendly tax return preparer. All that is left to do is write the cheque and make sure it gets posted in time.
But that is not the end of your Tax Pain
Unfortunately some may have been so busy getting all of the above wrapped up before the deadline they forgot all about another tax deadline.
The Second installment of your Uxbridge property taxes are due by Friday April 29th, 2011.
Failure to pay them on time will result in an immediate penalty of 1 1/4%
and
another 1 1/4% again on the 1st of every month after that until paid.
And Be Counted On The Second Of May
If you did not make use of the advance polls ..... Exercise your right and vote
If the advance polls are an indication voter turnout is going to be high.

Kathy....First, let me send a public apology your way; as I was reading Barrie's post earlier, I have a very bad memory that at some point in comments to you i called Barrie--Bernie; don't know why--I KNOW his name. So, if I did over the past comments--so sorry Barrie.
We also have voting here on May 3rd. Since we did not receive any info on the 'topic' of this voting, do suspect that it is probably school-related. the districts around Macomb area ofter send information that is school-related only to the parents of students. To this we say--"good try" --all the residents pay the taxes.
will go online to the school district site today & print out the information. We DID receive a 5 X 7" beautiful postcard informing us that our voting place has been changed to "...cut down on $$$$ being spent" Now that is funny. Have a great rest of the week.
